During the TICCN (The International Church Network) Conference which took place at Living Faith Church between 9-11th October 2019, Living Faith Church unveiled a plaque in memory of Rev John Holgate. Rev Holgate was the first minister at the site on Church Street and ministered here between 1820 to 1850.

Bishop Evans said: "He was very renowned in the community and we think it is a good and honourable thing to honour him in this way. He loved the people very much".

The room will be used for small group meetings and includes access to baby changing facilities and a disabled toilet.

The plague was unveiled by Rev Wendy Williams and Archbishop Doyle Valentine, who was visiting from Louisiana, USA for the TICCN conference.
